61% of office workers work exclusively on-site

Despite changes in work models, 84% of employees still visit offices at least once a week, with 61% working exclusively on-site, according to a report by the international advisory firm Cushman & Wakefield.
The report highlights the increasing role of offices in the lives of Poles, with 27% participating in hybrid work models, up from the COVID-19-induced revolution four years ago. Interestingly, smaller towns see more employees working from the company's headquarters. Factors like free parking, a commute of less than 15 minutes, and good location and infrastructure are valued by over half of Polish respondents. Other appreciated features include on-site dining options, fast and accessible elevators, and professional service.
Ewa Derlatka-Chilewicz, Head of Research at Cushman & Wakefield, noted a trend of optimizing office space in Warsaw, with a 4% increase in signed contracts but a decrease in total area. Additionally, vacancy rates in central Warsaw decreased by 3.4 percentage points to 9.6%.
