Poland has fastest GDP growth rate in region in ‘25 and ‘26

According to Deloitte, Poland is expected to lead Central Europe in GDP growth in 2025 and 2026, with projected growth of 3.4%, ahead of Croatia (3.0%). The region’s overall GDP is forecasted to grow by 2.6%, while major economies like Hungary and Romania face downgraded outlooks. Germany is expected to remain near stagnation in 2025 (0.3% growth). Despite strong forecasts, uncertainty remains high due to tariffs and trade tensions.
Inflation in Central Europe is projected at 3.8% in 2025, with Poland (4.2%), Hungary, and Romania seeing the highest rates. These countries may continue facing inflation above 3% in 2026. Deloitte also expects a slight strengthening of the Polish złoty next year.
