November 2024 saw mixed performance for Polish e-commerce. Sales dipped 1.2% from October, with orders up 4.8% but average value down 5.7%. Compared to 2023, sales rose 2.8%, driven by a 6.7% increase in orders, though the average order value fell 3.3% to PLN 190.2.

Experts attribute lower basket values to Cyber Monday falling in December, unlike last year. Categories like health, beauty, and supermarkets posted significant growth. Cross-border sales climbed 5.3% year-on-year, representing 18% of sellers’ turnover.

Consumers are adapting to Black Friday, prioritizing planned purchases over impulsive spending, with discounts as low as 10–15% still proving effective. Analysts suggest a steady, linear growth in Polish e-commerce, supported by stabilized consumer sentiment, despite less dramatic year-on-year increases.
