Savills Investment Management (Savills IM), the international real estate investment manager, has appointed Emily Hamilton as Director of Environmental Protection, Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance (ESG).

Emily Hamilton will work at the company's headquarters in London, and her responsibilities will include the coordination of Savills IM's global sustainability strategy, setting corporate standards and approach to ESG criteria (environmental protection, social responsibility, corporate governance). These activities will also include collaboration with fund teams around the world, both at the property portfolio and individual asset levels. Emily Hamilton will be responsible for supporting teams in implementing investor ESG requirements, reporting and monitoring, and working with tenants to fully implement sustainable development principles across individual assets and operations.

Prior to joining Savills IM, Emily Hamilton worked at Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, part of the Grosvenor Group. She served as the Deputy Director for Sustainable Development, and then acted as an advisor on changes to the company's key market strategy for climate issues.
