"Everything for my mother" by Małgorzata Imielska received awards for the best feature film and for directing in the Female Cinema section during the Dhaka International Film Festival.

The main character of "Everything for my mother" is 17-year-old Olka (played by Zofia Domalik), who, due to constant escapes from the orphanage, is placed in a correctional institution by the court. One day he meets Andrzej (Adam Cywka) and Irena (Jowita Budnik) there. When she finds out that they live near her former family home, she forces them to take her on vacation. For her, this is a chance to finally learn more about her mother. She does not know yet how much she will pay for it.

Imielska's picture was previously appreciated during the 44th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia in the category of professional acting debut and during the "Cinerga" European Cinema Forum.
