The President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, earned over CHF 4.13 million (PLN 18.5 million) last year, marking an annual increase of 33 percent, according to the financial report of this organization discussed by the AP agency.
Last year, FIFA raised Infantino's basic salary by over CHF 500,000, to CHF 2.46 million. His annual bonus was CHF 1.65 million, the same as in 2022 when the World Cup took place in Qatar.
The previous FIFA President Sepp Blatter, in addition to his basic salary and annual bonuses of $3 million, received a contracted bonus of $12 million for the 2014 World Cup.
