The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) reported that 21 out of the planned 100 bypasses under the PB100 program are currently underway, with a total value of PLN 3.2 billion. An additional nine bypasses are in the tendering phase. Four new roads are already open to drivers.
The program aims to enhance living conditions and road safety by creating 800 km of new roads. The first completed project was the nearly 2 km Smolajn bypass, opened in August 2022. Future bypasses include Gorajca, Krosno Odrzańskie, and Pułtusk, with various completion dates set for 2025-2027. The program also includes a reserve list of potential projects based on tender savings.
