The largest number of EU citizens went to the European Parliament elections out of concern for rising prices and the cost of living. This was stated by 42 percent of them, according to an EP survey presented at a conference in Brussels. The country's economic situation ranked second, with 41 percent of respondents mentioning it. International affairs worry 34 percent of EU citizens, migration issues 28 percent, and crime 17 percent. Interestingly, only 10 percent pointed to housing problems, and 11 percent to unemployment.
Poles, like most Europeans, said they went to the polls due to rising prices and the cost of living. This was indicated by 45 percent of respondents in Poland.
