At the end of January 2024, the number of foreigners working in Poland dropped below 1 million to 999,800, according to the Central Statistical Office (GUS). This figure was down from 1,015,100 at the end of December 2023. Foreigners made up 6.5% of the total workforce in Poland as of January 2024. The largest group of foreign workers were Ukrainians, numbering 686,700. However, their share of the foreign workforce decreased by 4.6 percentage points compared to January 2023.
