Japanese rating agency R&I maintain’s Poland’s A rating

The Japanese agency Rating and Investment Information (R&I) has confirmed Poland's foreign and domestic currency rating at "A" and maintained its stable outlook, according to a statement. R&I maintains the view that the country is likely to sustain stable economic growth in the medium term as the foundations for economic growth remain intact, supported by a large population and foreign companies operating in the country.
The agency notes that despite the continuation of a relatively expansionary fiscal policy, an improvement in fiscal balance is expected after the conclusion of anti-inflation measures. The public debt ratio is also under control. Considering these factors, R&I has affirmed Poland's issuer rating in foreign and domestic currency at the A level.
