The Kantar Consumer Index, describing consumer sentiment in Poland, rose to minus 26.5 points in March. from minus 27.9 points in February, according to the latest Kantar study.
"The result of the Kantar Consumer Index in March is the result of the improvement of all indicators. The indicator of the perception of the economic situation of the country increased by 1.1 points and amounts to 35.9 points. The assessment of the economic situation of households also increased by 1.7 points, reaching the value of 17,2 points,” the commentary reads.
The survey was conducted on March 5-10, 2021 on a nationwide, representative sample of 1,014 Polish residents aged 15 and over.
This indicator is the average value of the index of perception of the economic situation of the country and the index of assessing the financial condition of households. It can take values from minus 100 to plus 100. The indicator relates to the general economic mood of consumers resulting from the perception of the economic situation of the country and the financial condition of farms. The higher (positive) the value of the indicator, the more positive and optimistic the consumer climate is.
