More and more luxury hotels in Poland
As many as 62 hotels are currently under construction in Poland, 50 of which are four-star facilities and 12 are five-star facilities, TopHotelNews portal calculated.
The coronavirus pandemic and the accompanying restrictions on movement and compliance with the rules of social distancing did not block the construction of high-class hotels in Poland. Of the 62 projects currently in various stages of implementation, 35 are expected to be completed this year, and 9 of them are already in the pre-opening phase.
The opening of all of them is to bring an increase in the number of available hotel rooms by a total of 7,422. The most active player on the Polish hotel market is by far the Hilton Worldwide chain, which includes the brands Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton.
The first one has the largest number of currently implemented projects – seven with a total number of 1,050 rooms. Another five hotels with a total of 700 rooms are being built under the Hampton brand.
The top three also includes Accor's Mercure Hotels chain, which carries out five projects with a total of 765 rooms.
