Number of vacancies drops 17.9% y/y at end-Q3

At the end of the third quarter of 2023, the number of job vacancies stood at 111,200, marking a 1.8% decrease quarter-on-quarter, as reported by the Central Statistical Office (GUS). In a year-on-year comparison, there was a significant drop of 17.9%.

GUS indicates that the most substantial decline in job vacancies over the year occurred in the Information and Communication sector. The vacancy rate decreased by 0.18 percentage points (0.89%) compared to the third quarter of 2022.
