Poland is the main destination for Poles on holiday

This summer, 84% of Poles plan to take vacations, mostly within Poland but with increasing interest in foreign trips. A report highlights a shift towards urban tourism, now preferred by 19% of respondents, up by 5% from last year. Internationally, 36% will travel abroad, with 32% choosing European destinations, marking a 5% increase. Young adults aged 18-24 lead in opting for distant destinations, with 48% planning vacations abroad. The average budget for Polish vacations has risen to 5464 PLN, an increase of 608 PLN from last year. Travel insurance, mainly for health concerns, is considered by 2 in 3 respondents.
