In February 2024, Poland's Economic Climate Index (ESI) slightly dipped to 101.5 points from 102 points, as reported by the European Commission. The business climate indexes for industry and services also saw marginal decreases, while consumer sentiment showed a slight decline to +1.2 points. Retail sales, however, experienced a drop to -1.5 points. In the construction sector, the economic climate index remained relatively stable at -15.7 points. Encouragingly, the Employment Expectations Index (EEI) rose to 102 points from 100 points in the previous month. These indicators collectively reflect the ongoing economic dynamics in Poland, hinting at areas of stability and areas with room for improvement.
