Polka Pilates founder Kornelia Samanta is seeking up to PLN 10 mln to transform her reformer Pilates chain into an international women’s lifestyle brand valued at more than PLN 100 mln. The company operates 16 studios and generates PLN 15 mln in annual revenue. Its five-year plan combines fitness services, content, membership benefits, online programs, retreats, functional beverages, and potentially supplements. Polka Pilates also plans to sell its own reformers in Europe and the Middle East and may open studios in U.S. cities with large Polish communities from 2028.
Investors are reviewing the plan, although industry experts warn that rapid expansion, poor site selection, underestimated costs, and excessive diversification could threaten profitability and service quality.
