Warsaw is promoting eco-friendly initiatives by accepting additional funding applications until April's end for purchasing and installing renewable energy sources. Eligible recipients include individuals, housing communities, entrepreneurs, and various organizations. Properties seeking subsidies must not use solid fuel or fuel oil boilers for heating, and investments cannot commence before subsidy agreements are finalized. Subsidy amounts depend on whether the applicant is from the public finance sector or not. Municipal or district entities may receive up to 80% coverage of actual investment costs, while non-public finance sector entities can obtain subsidies for air and ground heat pumps, solar collectors, photovoltaics, and wind turbines, with maximum amounts specified for each category. This initiative aims to incentivize green energy adoption and contribute to environmental sustainability efforts in the city.
