Almost PLN 70 million from European Funds to finance professional design process

The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development has announced the results of the 1st round of the Design for Entrepreneurs – Accessibility Plus competition. Entrepreneurs submitted a total of 467 applications for co-financing for the amount of almost PLN 136 million. The projects of 128 companies, which were awarded co-financing of almost PLN 70 million, were positively assessed. The competition is financed from EU funds under the Intelligent Development Operational Program.

Design for Entrepreneurs – Accessibility Plus is a competition which during the pandemic enjoyed great interest among companies. The competition aims to co-finance the development of a new or improved design project, the effect of which will be the implementation of product innovation on the market and the co-financing of investments necessary for its implementation. Product innovation is to meet the specific needs of people with functional limitations, both physical and cognitive. The competition was aimed at micro, small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the territory of Poland, except for voivodeships in the eastern part of Poland.
