Ares Management Corporation, which holds 43.04% of Murapol through a subsidiary, has formed a joint venture with Slate Asset Management. The new entity has purchased a portfolio of 36 retail convenience parks in Poland from Trei Real Estate for over EUR 300 million. These recently built and fully leased properties are located in major metropolitan areas near large population centers. The joint venture emphasizes that the assets are protected against inflation due to CPI-indexed lease agreements.

Most income comes from major regional retailers and essential-goods providers, such as grocery stores and pharmacies. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2025. Trei Real Estate, part of Germany’s Tengelmann Group, previously owned the portfolio.
