LW Bogdanka reported solid 2025 results, with net profit of about PLN 264 mln and revenues exceeding PLN 2.8 bln, despite a challenging market. Coal sales fell 5.6% y/y to 7.7 mln tonnes, while production also declined slightly.

The company maintained strong liquidity and a leading 30.4% share in supplying coal to Poland’s power sector. However, profitability was pressured by lower coal prices, weaker demand, and competition from cheap imports. EBITDA reached PLN 543 mln with a 19% margin, down from the previous year.

Most revenue came from domestic energy clients, though exports grew. Bogdanka plans higher investment in 2026 and expansion into renewable energy, including a photovoltaic project.
