Energy minister signs regulation to law on electricity prices
The energy minister Krzysztof Tchórzewski signed a regulation to the law on electricity prices, the ministry said in a statement. The proposed regulation contains, among others formulas for calculating the price difference reimbursement, separately for the first and second half of this year. It also includes formulas for calculating costs of operation.
Tchórzewski said earlier that compensation payments will start in September and may last until the end of October or mid-November. The Ministry estimates the total amount for 2019 at PLN 4.2-4.3 billion, including PLN 2.1-2.3 billion in the first half of the year.
