Polish companies are increasingly adopting AI to automate repetitive tasks, with 35% reducing hiring for junior positions—a 10 percentage point increase from the previous year, according to an EY study. While 36% of employees see AI adoption as inevitable, 21% remain skeptical, 19% fear job loss, and 13% express enthusiasm.

The report highlights the emerging "AI Gap", where reduced junior hiring may lead to future knowledge gaps and workforce shortages as experienced employees retire or advance. AI usage in HR remains low (18%), compared to customer service (41%) and finance (28%), due to concerns about empathy, inclusivity, and data protection.

AI-driven operational changes increased from 33% to 40%, signaling growing corporate AI adoption. However, 43% of firms are still exploring solutions, and 11% take no action in this area.
