Gen Z is more attracted to offices than their elders

Contrary to common belief, Poland’s Gen Z is not avoiding office work. According to the 2024 Barometr Polskiego Rynku Pracy by Personnel Service, nearly half of young workers prefer a hybrid model with up to three remote days per week, and 11% prefer fully on-site work. Only 24% want to work entirely remotely. Gen Z values in-person interaction, mentorship, and team collaboration—especially after missing key social and educational experiences during the pandemic.
They average 3.1 days per week in the office, more than older generations. However, a lack of presence from senior staff and managers discourages them. Companies are responding by introducing initiatives like "leader hours" and junior team hubs to enhance office engagement.
