The platform collecting employees' opinions about employers, Glassdoor, has published the 13th edition of the annual Best Places to Work report, presenting the top 100 companies rated by portal users in the last 12 months. The list includes enterprises employing at least 1000 people, although smaller entities were also assessed.
The ranking is based on the opinions of employees posted on the website within the last 12 months. In addition to the companies known from previous editions of the list, a few newcomers appeared.
Some of the entities included in the list played an important role in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, Andrew Chamberlain, chief economist at Glassdoor, emphasizes in a statement for the American Business Insider. It includes the vaccine manufacturer Pfizer or the American medical service provider Northwell Health, which was the first to vaccinate its employees against Covid-19. Both entities, along with 17 other companies, are included in the list for the first time in history.
The first place went to the consulting company Bain & Company. "In no other company is remote work as well organized as at Bain & Company. As an employee of the company you really feel part of it, and the support that is given to you cannot be overestimated," the employee as a partner pointed out.
The next places in the ranking were taken by Nvidia, In-N-Out Burger, HubSpot, and McKinsey & Company. Only 6th place was taken by Google, and 11th by Facebook.
