Griffin Energy Group, a Polish company specializing in large-scale energy storage, will invest PLN 100 million to build a 28 MW / 120 MWh energy storage facility in Jawor, within the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. Scheduled for launch in late 2026, the installation will stabilize the national grid and support Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne (PSE) under a 17-year capacity contract. Fully financed by Polish capital, the project is one of the country’s largest domestic battery storage ventures.

Over five years, Griffin plans to develop 150–200 MW of storage capacity. Founded in 2017, the company partners with Tesla, Sungrow, and Leclanché. Executives emphasize that energy storage is becoming crucial for integrating renewables and ensuring grid stability as Poland enters a new energy era.
