The Kantar Consumer Index, describing consumer sentiment in Poland, rose in July to minus 8.7 points from minus 16.4 points in June, according to the Kantar TNS study.
"July, along with the increasingly faster lifting of the restrictions, brought an improvement in consumer moods, but the Consumer Index is still at a low level, not recorded since 2015," Kantar TNS commented.
"The fact that the optimism of the society is growing does not mean that the lockdown has passed unnoticed. Every fourth Polish household declares that its situation has worsened compared to the situation from the previous year,” the report reads.
