Lockdown restrictions eased in Poland

From April 20, in stores with an area of up to 100 sqm, a maximum of four customers can do their shopping (previously three), while in larger stores, the number of buyers depends on the area of the store – 15 sqm per customer. Restrictions on the number of clients at post offices have been left unchanged.
The shopping hours – 10 am-12 noon – are reserved for 65+ customers on weekdays only. Previously, those two hours were kept for seniors all days of the week. However, the restriction does not apply if it is necessary to give medicine or a medical device during this time to people below 65 due to a sudden threat to life or health, as well as in wholesale shops.
Customers are also still required to wear disposable gloves in stores and store employees are required during their opening hours to disinfect the cashier or service desk at least once an hour.
Residents are also allowed to freely enter forests and national parks throughout Poland, and in the forest, there is no obligation to use a mask, the Polish environment ministry stated on April 19.
