mBank allocated PLN 7.6 billion to finance sustainable investments in 2024 and helped mobilize an additional PLN 8.5 billion through green bond issuances and consortium financing, bringing its total commitment to PLN 16.1 billion. The bank emphasized its role in supporting green transformation and sustainable development.

As part of its Sustainability Linked Loan (SLL) program, mBank provided PLN 2.6 billion in financing across sectors such as retail, technology, and waste management, offering incentives for meeting decarbonization targets. It also facilitated PLN 1.5 billion in green bond issuances for energy and real estate projects.

By the end of 2024, mBank’s renewable energy portfolio reached PLN 4.8 billion, supporting 9 solar farms and 4 wind farms with an annual energy output of 424,092 MWh, avoiding 253,183 tCO2e emissions. The bank also expanded financing for small-scale renewables and remains a leader in Poland’s green finance sector.
