New shopping mall in Warsaw has almost all its tenants

The modernization of Warsaw Zachodnia, Poland’s busiest railway station, has created a new underground concourse resembling a shopping center rather than a traditional passenger tunnel. Beneath the new platforms, 26 retail units with a total area of over 5,300 m² have been built. So far, PKP PLK has signed agreements with 22 tenants, including Aldi, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Rossmann, Żabka, Costa Coffee, and Relay.
The space will combine ticket offices and waiting areas with shops, restaurants, and cafés, serving over 100,000 daily users. The PLN 2 billion project, co-financed by EU funds, also includes roofed platforms and advanced safety systems, making it one of PKP’s largest infrastructure investments.
