In June, over one million passengers used Kraków-Balice Airport, marking a 15% increase from the previous year. This is the first time in history that over 5 million people have been processed in the first half of the year. The airport offers over 150 destinations and serves 26 airlines. Recent developments include a new aircraft parking area and preparations for winter de-icing operations.

The airport's interim CEO, Łukasz Strutyński, highlighted strong passenger growth, particularly to sunny destinations and via connecting hubs like Dubai and Istanbul, enabling travel to destinations in China, India, Africa, and Australia. The annual projection hints at surpassing 10 million passengers this year.
