Chopin Airport ends strong year with 24 mln passengers
Warsaw’s Chopin Airport handled more than 24 million passengers in 2025, marking the best year in its history and nearly 3 million more travelers than in 2024, according to Polskie Porty Lotnicze (PPL). The strong growth confirms the airport’s role as Poland’s main aviation hub, with passenger traffic rising steadily throughout the year. PPL’s CEO Łukasz Chaberski emphasized that the airport maintained operational stability despite record volumes and announced further modernization, including new CT security scanners and infrastructure upgrades.
Government representative Maciej Lasek said the results prove structurally rising demand for air travel, supported by parallel investments in Chopin Airport and the long-term development of the Central Transport Hub.
