Report: rents rising to as high as PLN 80 sqm in Warsaw

The end of summer and start of the academic year have fueled strong demand for rental housing in Poland, particularly in student cities. According to Rankomat.pl and Rentier.io, rents continue to rise, reaching up to PLN 80/m² in Warsaw, where a 50 m² flat costs about PLN 4,000 (excluding bills). In Częstochowa, similar flats cost around PLN 2,000. Prices vary widely: Gdynia (+3.7%) and Sosnowiec (+3.3%) saw sharp monthly increases, while Łódź and Białystok fell by 2.5%.
Year-on-year, Toruń (+9.9%) and Lublin (+9.8%) led growth, with Częstochowa the only city showing a decline. Dormitories remain a cheaper option, ranging from PLN 400 for shared rooms to PLN 1,500 for singles in Wrocław.
