Siemens will in October 2019 open a factory producing high-quality control cabinets. The plant will be located in Mirków near Wrocław and will, according to the company, contribute to the development of Poland’s industry 4.0. “A high-end control cabinet is the brain of every modern factory, without which automated production cannot take place. Production will amount to more than 1,000 pieces annually,” Siemens said in a press release. Some of the cabinets are to be exported to other EU countries. Nearly 150 people will be employed at the factory which is the company’s first investment of this kind in Poland.
