The most important investment in the history of the Karimpol Group in Europe – the Skyliner office building implemented in Warsaw's Wola – reached its target height of 195 m, the company said. The general contractor, Warbud, has completed the reinforced concrete structure of the building.
"For the construction of Skyliner reinforced concrete structure, about 8,300 metric tonnes of steel was used, 50,700 cubic meters of concrete were poured, and about 100 people were directly involved in the reinforced concrete works, including carpenters, steel fixers, crane operators or a hook. The 44 floors of the office building and the target 195 meters high, consisting of a 23-meter podium and a tower, have been crowned with a traditional topping out,” the release reads.
Currently, elevation works are carried out at the Skyliner construction site at the top of the building.
Skyliner will offer approximately 45,000 sqm of office space. Approximately 1,500 sqm of space will be available to future tenants on each floor. The building will consist of 30 office levels and four intended for commercial and service purposes, which will be available to both tenants of the building and residents of Warsaw. On over 3,500 sqm of space there will be: shops, restaurants, cafes and fitness. In addition, at the height of 165 m, two levels of Skybar are planned with a view of the city panorama, which can be accessed by a dedicated elevator.
