Recruiters open an average of 74% of job applications, leaving 1 in 4 CVs unviewed, according to a study by eRecruiter and Great Digital. Companies in the entertainment and culture sector have the lowest engagement, reviewing only 48% of applications, while government organizations lead with 89%.

The average time from application to CV opening is 8 days, with sectors like tourism and real estate being the quickest. Overall, recruitment processes average 49 days, with candidates receiving offers within 20 days. Long recruitment durations can frustrate candidates and negatively impact employer branding. The report analyzed over 9.5 million applications from 2,000 firms and 3,200 candidate surveys from January to June this year.
