As many as 75% of manufacturing companies have difficulties with finding employees as the war in Ukraine caused the outflow of experienced staff, the ManpowerGroup's "Talent Shortage" report showed.
Companies most often indicated difficulties in recruiting production workers, which was signaled by almost half of the surveyed organizations in the industrial production sector (45%).
The most difficult qualities of candidates to find for industrial manufacturing companies include problem-solving skills (37%) and analysis and critical thinking (35%), said Anna Litwińska from Manpower. She added employers also find it difficult to employ workers who quickly adapt to changes and are resistant to stress (27%) and are able to cooperate (25%).
