Almost 600,000 sqm of office space in 17 office buildings is currently being built in Warsaw's Wola district. This is as much as in total being built in Katowice, Kraków, Wrocław and Gdańsk. Interestingly, almost 60 percent of space being built in Wola have already been rented, according to REDD company, who is analyzing in real time as the only office data in Poland.
The southern part of the district is undoubtedly the largest construction site in Warsaw. 17 investments are under construction at the end of April.
“Today, there are over 1.18 million sqm of offices in this area of Warsaw, and another 583,000 sqm are under construction. This means that after completing all investments in Wola, there will be over 1.7 million sqm of offices, i.e. a quarter of the current office space resources in Warsaw. This supply is greater than in the whole of Kraków or Wrocław,” Piotr Smagała, managing director of REDD, said
Construction of the largest investments in the city is underway in Wola, such as Warsaw HUB from Ghelamco, which will offer 75,000 sqm of office space, Forest from HB Reavis with a planned total rentable area of 78,000 sqm, Warsaw Unit (57,000 sqm) or Generation Park Y (44,000 sqm). The main point will be Varso Place, in the south-west of Wola, a complex in which the tallest building in the European Union will be built.
There are 860 office buildings throughout Warsaw. In total, the capital has over 1 million sqm of vacant space in buildings completed and built (commercialized).
