Average salary in Q2 ‘26, q/q decline but y/y growth
Poland’s average monthly gross wage reached PLN 9,233.13 in the second quarter of 2026, up 5.5% y/y, according to Statistics Poland (GUS). Compared with the first quarter, however, average pay fell 3.45% from PLN 9,562.88. In Q2 2025, the average monthly wage stood at PLN 8,748.63.
Separate GUS data showed that the median gross wage was PLN 7,690.82 in February 2026, meaning half of employees earned no more than that amount and half earned at least that much. The median was slightly higher for men, at PLN 7,753.52, than for women, at PLN 7,631.04.
