CBOS poll: 48% of Poles believe the situation in country is going the wrong direction
A new January survey by CBOS shows that public sentiment in Poland remains broadly stable, though slightly pessimistic. According to the poll, 48% of respondents believe the country is heading in the wrong direction, while 30% see improvement and 22% have no opinion. Views changed only marginally compared with December. Assessments of the political situation remain mixed, with most respondents expecting little change over the next year. The economy is rated more positively, as 37% describe it as good and only 26% as bad. Personal living conditions are viewed favorably, with about two-thirds of Poles rating their situation as good.
CBOS concludes that expectations for the future are largely unchanged, with more people anticipating stability rather than improvement or deterioration.
