Warsaw land parcel heads to court auction
A 31,135 sqm investment plot in Ursus — a former industrial district in western Warsaw that has been steadily transforming into a residential and mixed-use neighbourhood — is going under the hammer in a court-supervised enforcement auction. The site, valued by a court-appointed expert at just under PLN 39 million, fronts onto Aleja 4 Czerwca 1989 r., one of the district's main arterial roads, and has connections to electricity, water, sewage, and district-heating networks. The plot is rectangular, flat, and classified as residential land, making it straightforward to develop.
A cluster of derelict structures covering roughly 500 sqm — including an unused residential building and workshop units — sits in the southern section but is assessed as unfit for retention and due for demolition, effectively delivering a clean site to any buyer. Bidding opens online on 27 May and closes 3 June, with the starting price set at three-quarters of the valuation. A refundable deposit of PLN 3.88 million was required by midnight on 25 May. Participants must hold an active account in the National Council of Court Bailiffs' electronic tender system.
