Stable full-time employment in Poland is no longer the default career path. Instead, more workers are shifting toward project-based work, often serving multiple clients simultaneously. This model, common in IT and marketing, is spreading across other sectors. Experts say this is not the end of traditional jobs but their gradual transformation.

The change reflects a faster, less predictable economy and growing use of AI, which reduces the need for full-time roles. Companies increasingly hire specialists temporarily or part-time, while high-skilled workers benefit from flexibility and higher earnings.

However, the labor market is splitting: skilled professionals gain, while lower-skilled workers face instability and fewer protections, highlighting the need for new social safeguards.
