TikTok already has a billion users globally, is primarily an entertainment platform, and its audience is very diverse. TikTok focuses more and more on cooperation with business and advertisers. Also in Poland, where he opened his office at the beginning of this year, which also serves as a regional hub for the whole of Central Europe. It is in this region that the platform is currently enjoying the fastest growth.

"TikTok in the region of Central Europe is recording very dynamic growth, much higher than the global average. The interest in the platform is very high not only in the youngest group, early adopters, i.e. young people who use the news most willingly and quickly. We also see a lot of interest and growth in the elderly segment, i.e. 24+ and even up to 40. So TikTok is starting to be a mature platform," Sylwia Chada, general manager of TikTok in Poland and Central Europe, said.

TikTok also creates opportunities for companies, allowing, among other things, to reach a unique group of users. App Annie's research from April 2021 shows that about 50 percent of its users do not use other media platforms. The company is increasingly focusing on promoting and cooperating with business and advertisers, also in Poland.
