Fuel prices in Poland have surged to unprecedented levels, with diesel reaching a record average of PLN 8.69 per liter, according to e-petrol.pl. That marks a weekly increase of PLN 0.93—the sharpest rise among fuels. Analysts note that even following the outbreak of war in Ukraine, diesel had never been this expensive.
Petrol prices have also climbed, with E10 now averaging PLN 7.14 per liter, up PLN 0.35 week-on-week. Autogas has risen to PLN 3.64, increasing by PLN 0.32 since mid-March.
Regional differences remain significant. The cheapest petrol is in Łódź (PLN 7.04), while diesel is lowest in Podlasie and Lublin (PLN 8.64). LPG is cheapest in Greater Poland (PLN 3.57).
At the higher end, petrol peaks in Świętokrzyskie and Lublin (PLN 7.29), diesel in Lower Silesia (PLN 8.76), and LPG in Mazovia (PLN 3.69). Oil price volatility continues to influence trends.
