New fund to help Polish companies to expand into Eastern and Central Europe

On Thursday, Polish companies will get to know a new international fund investing in the development of transport, energy, and digital infrastructure. With the help of the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund, entrepreneurs can develop their exports and business in Eastern and Central Europe. The first investment was carried out by the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund in Poland by taking over the transport company Cargounit, and the second – in Estonia.
The free virtual seminar presents the principles of operation of the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund and shows, on the example of Estonia, how to successfully apply for the money. In addition, events in the transport and energy sector in Latvia and Lithuania will be discussed, and the presentations will end with a panel discussion moderated by the President of the Republic of Estonia, Kersti Kaljulaid, on combining public and private finance for infrastructure investments, with the participation of Pierre Heilbronn, Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), André Küüsvek, president of the Nordic Investment Bank, Sandrine Croset, head of Baltic and Northern European operations at the European Investment Bank, and Beata Daszyńska-Muzyczka, president of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and chairman of the supervisory board of the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund.
After the Polish transport company Cargounit, another investment from the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund was aimed at creating the largest, safest, and most modern data center in the Baltic countries near Tallinn. The data center is being built by the Estonian company Greenergy Data Centers, which plans to build a network of energy-efficient and green data centers in Eastern and Central Europe, starting in Estonia.
According to Üllar Jaaksoo, founder and director of Greenergy Data Centers, an entrepreneur should, if possible, immediately select an investor of the right size, with the same target market and similar goals and value space to implement his business vision.
