Orlen has contract with Ukrainian Naftogaz for 300 mln m3 of gas in Q1 ‘26
Orlen has signed an agreement with Ukraine’s Naftogaz to deliver 300 million m³ of U.S. natural gas in the first quarter of 2026. The deal follows a cooperation framework established during the P-TEC transatlantic summit in November 2025. According to Orlen, negotiations moved quickly thanks to strong mutual trust, and the contract supports regional energy security while strengthening both companies’ market positions. Naftogaz expects LNG imports from the U.S. to reach 1 billion m³ in 2026. Orlen will handle the deliveries using its own LNG fleet and import infrastructure, aiming to expand its international gas presence.
The companies have already traded 600 million m³ of gas this year, and the new contract deepens their long term cooperation.
