WBJ sat down with Gosia Agnieszka Stankiewicz, Board Member and Head of Communications at Orivène, to discuss Polish luxury skincare, mindful beauty rituals and how native collagen, 24K gold and local craftsmanship are redefining modern self-care
WBJ: Where did the idea for Orivène come from?
Gosia Agnieszka Stankiewicz: Orivène began with a very simple thought: we wanted to create skincare that encourages people to slow down and reconnect with themselves. Our lives move at an intense pace, and we often expect more from ourselves than we can reasonably give. Our skin reflects that almost instantly. Stress, fatigue, imbalance and constant rushing all leave visible traces behind.
From the very beginning, we knew we didn’t want to build just another skincare brand based on empty promises. We wanted to create original formulas that genuinely support the skin and enhance what already exists: freshness, radiance and harmony. Good skincare shouldn’t disguise or overwhelm; it should simply help people feel comfortable and confident in their own skin.
Every Orivène product is created in Poland, with care and attention to detail. We were never interested in mass production or shortcuts. From day one, our focus has been on quality.
What defines luxury today?
To us, luxury begins the moment we stop compromising on our well-being. Today, true luxury is about making time for yourself, choosing quality over excess and turning skincare into a conscious ritual rather than another daily routine.
Consumers are more educated than ever before. They read ingredients, often understand formulations and look for products that not only feel beautiful, but also work in harmony with the skin. That’s why we’ve always focused on formulas that combine visible results with gentleness and respect for the skin.

What mattered most when creating Orivène products?
From the beginning, our philosophy was to combine advanced skincare with a refined sensory and aesthetic experience. At the heart of our formulas lies the synergy of native collagen and pure 24K gold.
For us, this combination is about far more than luxury itself. Gold helps restore luminosity and freshness to the skin, while native collagen supports comfort, elasticity and deep hydration. We wanted every formula to feel effective, yet beautifully gentle at the same time.
Each product was developed with patience, precision and great care. Nothing was rushed.
Does a Polish brand still need to prove itself?
Perhaps years ago. Today, Polish brands are increasingly confident in building their own identity, without needing comparisons to international names. From the very beginning, we believed we could create products of the highest standard while staying true to our own character and local production.
Polish entrepreneurship today is ambitious, conscious and increasingly fearless, not only aesthetically, but also creatively and strategically.
What were you not willing to compromise on?
The quality of our ingredients, the customer experience and the time needed to perfect every detail. In skincare, compromises are immediately noticeable. We never wanted to create products designed only for a passing moment or trend. What mattered to us was building trust and creating a long-term relationship with the customer.
For us, true luxury lives in the details: in the texture of a formula, the feeling during application, the elegance of the packaging and the way a product naturally becomes part of someone’s daily ritual.
How would you describe your aesthetic philosophy?
We are drawn to calm, timeless aesthetics, the kind that enhances rather than dominates. We do not believe in excess. To us, true beauty is subtle, effortless and deeply authentic.
We think about skincare in exactly the same way. It should never try to change someone. It should simply help bring out the best, most natural version of who they already are.
How do you want people to feel after discovering Orivène?
