The European Commission has awarded nearly EUR 59 million in funding under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF AFIF 2024) to support alternative fuel infrastructure projects, including EUR 25 million for developments in Poland, the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy announced.

All five Polish projects that applied will receive funding. Notable initiatives include ultra-fast chargers with a capacity of 1 MW, a first for the Polish market. Major recipients include E.ON Drive Infrastructure GmbH (EUR 28.8 million) and Milence Infrastructure Holding BV (EUR 17.7 million). Other projects led by Electrip Mobility Service, Mota Engil Renewing SA, and Eesti Energia SA also secured funding.

The projects aim to expand EV charging networks for both light and heavy vehicles, advancing Poland’s transition to sustainable transport.
