GUS: number of tourists in Poland in Q3 ‘26 amounted to 2.953 mln
Poland recorded continued growth in tourism activity in March 2026, according to data from the Central Statistical Office (GUS). The total number of tourists reached 2.953 mln, up from 2.783 mln in March 2025. For the first quarter of 2026, tourist arrivals rose to approximately 8.576 mln, compared with 7.987 mln a year earlier.
International tourism showed even stronger growth. The number of foreign visitors increased to 667,890 in March from 582,010 a year earlier, while the cumulative total for January–March reached about 1.762 mln, up from 1.542 mln in the same period of 2025.
The number of overnight stays in Poland rose to 6.58 mln in March, compared with 6.3 mln a year earlier. Foreign tourists accounted for 1.52 mln overnight stays, up from 1.32 mln in March 2025, indicating a continued recovery and strengthening of inbound tourism demand.
