Ministry of Foreign Affairs will introduce cyberattaché position in diplomatic missions
Cyberdiplomacy is becoming an important response to the challenges created by Poland’s digital transformation, according to speakers at CYBERSEC EXPO & FORUM in Katowice. Participants argued that Poland must strengthen its international trade presence and better promote domestic digital and cybersecurity companies. Business representatives said support from institutions such as PAIH and Team Poland remains insufficient, with too much focus on large promotional events rather than practical market access. The Ministry of Development and Technology said it is ready to discuss improvements with business. Speakers also stressed that cybersecurity exports require trust, political support and cooperation with foreign governments.
The EU and Poland’s foreign ministry are also developing tools, including cyberattachés and sanctions against cyberattackers.
