Over half (58%) of Polish organizations have begun adapting to AI Act regulations, reflecting growing awareness of the evolving legal environment, according to an EY survey. However, 16% halted their efforts, likely due to technical challenges or resource constraints, while 17% have yet to act. Key provisions, including bans on practices like social scoring, take effect in February 2025, urging companies to act promptly.

AI adoption varies across functions; 41% of firms implemented AI in customer service and marketing, but only 5% in compliance, reflecting challenges with data confidentiality and high accuracy demands. Legal readiness is improving; 25% report strong knowledge of AI laws, up 5% y/y, enabling better regulatory alignment. Compliance remains a critical but underdeveloped area.
